Sara Settles In Long Beach

On September 2nd, Sara moved to Long Beach, CA. She settled into a nice apartment just a 15 minute walk from the ocean.

A week later she started her job as a civilian contractor with the U. S. Air Force at El Segundo Air Force Base near Los Angeles. She will be working in the Air Force's Global Positioning Systems which manages satellite and ground-based GPS programs.

It's the beginning of a new adventure.




A few weeks earlier, Matt, Becky, Ben, Carolyn and I went for a visit to see Long Beach. We all had great fun getting to know the area.



Ben had a good time at the beach. (He and grandma like to wear silly hats.)

Aunt Sara took him to lunch.

He saw the boats (including the Queen Mary.)

He went to the aquarium for the first time. (Sea lions were his favorites.)

He got to see the harbor with mom and dad. (And stay up late.)

It was a pretty full day. At the end, Ben and Bear were really tired.
